When I first got this car Ryan said "Dual carb intake. Lower it, done". Well, I lowered it first and now I've got the dual carbs. I'm still recovering from my knee replacement surgery, so I probably won't get this on before spring, going south for the winter. P.S. she said "get that thing off my counter"
Well choosen! Dig the lowered look too. Often taking the simple approach is more rewarding and actually captures the period feel / as most if the fellas in the day took the same path you took when hopping up their cars. My Grandpa did the same simple approach on his/my 41 in the 1940s Have fun with her and let us know how the slingshot intake performs Best John
awesome, especially with it on the kitchen counter, had to show the wife im not the only person with parts in the house.
WOW!! What a good looking coupe. Like the cream wheels. Hey, at least you had the intake sitting on a towel! Nice kitchen, too.
Damn, that looks so good it should be in the center of the island until you put on the engine! Really goes well with the appliances and makes that granite look classy. Tell the wife I said so... maybe she will change her mind.
thats a great setup.. looks like the day i had my McCulloch supercharger and intake on the kitchen table for my flathead.. my wife just smiles and thinks its funny
Nice intake and car. A friend has an original Eddie Meyer intake that he keeps in his bedroom.....wife doesn't mind at all!!!
I used to have a 6/71 supercharger on the bedroom floor. My, now ex-wife, did mind. She hit it with her toes The coupe looks great. Lars
