Your best bet is to take your existing core to a radiator shop and see if they can build you a new one. Second best is to replace the entire heater assembly with a new aftermarket one (sometimes more economical than a NOS core alone).

if its a round core it may be hard to find- but they also came in 53-54 chev cars- maybe a repop can be found in a car part catalog

  7. Yeah, and the ones they offer are re-built originals and for 249.95 that is insane.

Take your core to a local radiator shop that has been in business for a number of years,,they can repair your old core for a whole lot less. HRP

part 2-----also 58 & 59 trucks have a normal square core that can be re-cored & should be a bolt in except heater hoses will be in a different location

    vianorman,
What ever you do don't buy a made in China heater core. Call 877-542-8192 they should be able to fix you up.

    55-57 round "standard" heater
    58-59 square "standard" heater
    55-59 deluxe heater

are all different, and each uses different locations for hoses in the firewall. (the holes are in different places on 55-57 cabs vs 58-59 cabs).

I'd sure like to get my round heater fixed...
