    I don't think that Lucas Petrol Injection used a common air flow meter like the Bosch did. On the car it looks more like a set of Weber carbs.

    I'm not sure about other manufacturers but I know that they were problematic enough that Triumph switched back to carbs though.

    I don't fully understand this, and I had never realized how far back the Lucas injection went. I thought it was a late sixties development.
