Stolen 1972 chevelle and black enclosed trailer

I'm not on this site a lot but I would appreciate any help.

STOLEN was a 1972 Chevelle and enclosed trailer this past Saturday evening. The trailer, which is a black, was parked off HWY 14 near Johnson Tractor on the east side of Janesville. He parked it there after retuning from Byron Dragway earlier that day. Please pass this along to try and find it!

I don't know a lot about the car but I believe it has a BBC 496.

Little more on the trailer discription , license plate #(if one), or any decals or chrome wheels????

This always sucks, sorry to hear. I have heard and always recommend to guys with enclosed trailers...Paint your phone number in huge numbers on the roof! You, the neighbors and the thieves never see it, but it helps when traveling the interstate and the semi trucks, overpass traffic, news helicopters etc can see it. Get on the CB channels and report it, send a press release to the news channels that have helo's and post a pic of the trailer and the roof on all overpasses outside city limits, gas stations etc. People will almost make a game of finding a trailer with a huge phone number on it rather than " another enclosed trailer that looks like all the others"

 

I just checked into HAMB to post this, but checked the search first. So another BTT !!
These low lifes need to be caught..

 

UPDATE: The trailer has been found in Darien, WI but it was completly empty....the tools, spare parts and the car are still missing.

We are all car guys here Are you freakin kidding me. I have my 72 Chevelle SS since new. I'd be devasted and looking for ALL the help I could think of. We'll all keep looking ....

I have been thru Janesville several times this year

Southern Wisconsin can be dicey right near the Illinois border

I have a 67 Chevelle and know a lot of Chevelle owners here in Waukesha & Jefferson county. I'll send out some emails as well as keep my eyes and ears open.
