It will be a long ways down the road before it gets a hair cut, I personally like them both ways so if I get bored later than maybe ill pull it apart , chop it and change the color. It will be like getting a new car for not much more than a winter's down time, at least hopefully . But that is way down the line . I am a big fan of modesty and my favorite rods are subtle and modest in their details . So if there is a change look for a 50's vw burgundy or early Harley green and a mild chop. But then again, I have hot rod a.d.d and it might go down the road for another car. Who knows

I like the idea of burgundy with no chop.

Good looking car. I like `em with no chop. No chop is different now and denotes it as a steel car. Most glass bodies come chopped.

A set of wheels make a big difference in looks too. Mine is waaayy too street roddy but I changed a few things including the wheels and am happy for a year or two until it comes apart for a rebuild to burgundy and fenders.

I`d swap the wheels, finish the interior, buff the paint and drive the piss outta it!

  6. Great find. I like it as is, but it would look even better with the steel wheels that were on the Vicky. Just my 2 cents, don't chop it.

Thanks for the input on the wheels guys. I think I'm gonna call up the Vicky guy and see what I can get the steels for. Look for the torq thrusts to be on the market in the next couple weeks

I like torque thrust wheels and it makes it a little different than most of the other As with steel wheels. I think it needs fenders with the torque thrust wheels though.

  13. Where are you in California? Looks good! Black steelies would look great to me,for an older look. Torque Thrusts seem more 60's era.

Probably shouldn't have showed him your new ride before completing the swap. Now he thinks he bought the wrong car. Ha, ha.....
