Hi All, I've been trying to post this thread but it doesn't seem to go through.
I've decided to put a hydro boost brake booster on my '39, but i need to ask the experts a question. I picked up a hydro boost assembly at my local junkyard for $60 with the pedal and mc. It fits great under the floor if I turn it upside-down. I need to know if the hydro boost will work that way. The booster came out of a chevy van and it has 3 ports in it. The routing is as follows; 1) from the steering gearbox 2) to the steering pump 3) to the ps tank. My question is, does port 3 need to be up to keep the internals full of fluid or is it just a pressure relief drain line?

    Thanks
    Paul
