Features 56' Chevy Gassers ONLY!

Since there's already a thread for Chevy gassers (with a few 56' and 57's thrown because people can't read) How about a thread for 56' chevy gassers. I'm sure it will be s much shorter thread but what the heck.

 

I always wanted to build this one as a kid but never got too it.

 

Anyone????

When our red car was being campaigned by Dennis Coker in E/Gas, he typically had the ET record in '63 '64, that white '56 usually had the MPH side of the record. Dennis ran 5.86's in the rear, and says he always wanted to try 5.57's to see if he could get the MPH record too.

 

55s are my fave-----but there are a whole lot of REAL GOOD lookin 56s

That thing is crazy cool! I remember seeing a light sea foam green '56 "roadster" racing at Lions when I was a little kid.

 

Jus' plain cool right here!!!

 

Even cooler is that pic was taken through the passenger window of my brothers blown gas '41 Willys by a visiting Aussie buddy on our way to the Twilight Cruise at the NHRA museum.

 

Why didn't I think of doing a thread like this
