Took the Pink beast to the Newport Hillclimb in Indiana and back this weekend, so now it has probably 1500 miles on it with no real issues. Here are some pics of the requisite PBR gas tank, clever battery box, and roll of toilet paper because you never know if you shit in a porta potty all weekend if there is going to be enough butt wipe left for you!

I have just about finished the chassis on mine. Running quarter ellp. in front and semi in rear. Building out of all the left over parts I have. Sectioned the grille and next month will chop it at least 4 ins.

 

Love the truck, glad the thread survived the changes to the board.

In Australia that colour (sorry, color) is often referred to as "dog d!ck red".

I always love to watch your builds come together. For perspective how long did the box end up and what tire sizes did you use?
The rear tires are perfect proportions for the box - which is not so common. Great build. Working on a Chevy truck now - kinda Sea Hag/Rocket Queen-ish.

Stoggie, I think the bed was just over 4 feet. I can't remember for sure. The tires are 7.50/16 on the rear and 6.00/16 on the front.

I remember at one of the early VLV shows a sweet black 35 or 36 on big and little whitewalls that was perfect. If memory serves, it belonged to a member of The Throttlers car club of SLC, Utah.
