T 350 trans

    Put 8 qts of fluid in my 350 trans today for the first start up on my t bucket no noise no gears not any thing whats wrong drain it an puLL it out what could be wrong with it thanks for any help

    manual valve not connected to shift linkage?

    fill the torque converter?

    Did it show full on the dipstick? Doesn't matter how much you put in....keep adding until it shows it's full. If it was full.....did you have the converter all the way in before you tightened the bell housing bolts? If not and you tightened them (and maybe heard a pop) then you broke the pump gear and it won't make pressure to do anything.

    Found the problem valve body was appling low an rev at the same time so i got burned up clutch disc now , will put it an try agine with a different trans thanks for the help guys
