55-57 Ford guys....do your rear leaf spring hangers look like this?

Trying to figure out if this spring hanger/shackle is stock or not. Car sits up a little high in the back. Car is a 57 Fairlane. Thanks for any info.

The shackle has been 'flipped' down... a common trick to jack the back of the car up.

 

It's stock. Flip the shackle inward it will help lower a bit if that's the look your going for

What 1954ford' said..... Jack the car up, let the rear hang (disconnecting the shocks will help)and flip the shackle over. You need something to put in the space and pry it around. Isn't tough, but be careful.

get the back of thecar up on jackstands. put a jack from the axle to the frame,pump it down but dont break the shock or brake hose. put a bar in the shcackleland flip it, let the jack down.
