    Hi everyone,

I'm a future HAMBer looking to possibly buy a cool mid-50's cruiser for the family to enjoy. I bought a 1965 mustang a couple years ago and have replaced the entire fuel system, converted to 4 wheel disk brakes, new custom interior, etc.

    Thanks guys
    Ben

Well, it took me a while searching, but I finally found my mid-fifties cruiser. I just drug home a 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday Sedan Super 88 (I think it is super...).

This thing appears to have been left in a barn, ignored, and left to rot. Amazingly, there is no rot. there is some surface rust underneath, but no holes that i can find. Must be that old Cadillac/Olds build quality.

My plan is to make this a luxury family cruiser to rival a lexus...modern power leather seats, Air Conditioning, modern carpet. Fortunately for me, some critters took care of demolishing the interior for me. In the end i got the car for a steal.

I'll start an official build thread when i get started on it in a few weeks/months. I'm running out of garage and driveway space though...i'm going to have to work out a deal with a neighbor!

Welcome. A couple of nice cars. I had a black 1965 Mustang fastback with the rally pack, etc. from 65-72. Kids, wife, life!
