Ten hours prior to penning this, this photo was a mystery. I figured that it was just another homebuilt, small town hot rod from the mid-60s that was lost to time. Perhaps this grainy, awkwardly framed shot languished deep in the subject's dusty...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
I took this picture at Hotrodarama 2010. That car has a bitchin Seattle mural painted all over the body
Man, that original version is something else! Don't know where your finding this stuff, I just hope it never runs out.
yup, that's Rich's car... pretty wild now compared to the earlier version, although the current version was probably done fourty years ago
I want some headers like that. I've never seen that trick before. I'd drive the primered version daily.
The original version looks nice. I can't think of anything nice to say about the latter version, except nice engine.
Love the way the sky line mural is level to the ground! Hell, even Brizio Senior had those wild graphics on his early T's
Holy shit.. How cool is it that this post started from one photo of a car built way back when, not really knowing much of the background on it... And then through the powers of the HAMB it turns out the same damn car still exists and is being enjoyed! (local to us in the NW, no less) Amazing. I love this stuff.
Thought it was a picture of a wreck! Didn't 'get it' till the later color pict. Sorry, just not my style. Too much like a Kartoon. Its someone's hot rod though and that's all that matters! Go Go Go!
Heh heh I was on that same page truckjim. Figured that was an action shot of that dude getting ejected from that rig. Ugh!!! Great history but a horrible transition of a pretty neat original. To each their own.
I really like the main picture in this thread. I wondered what it might look like if everything was there. Something like this maybe.
Wow! That really fills in some blanks. Thanks for the kind words, guys. There's nothing greater than finding out more about some old iron from back in the day.
was cool seeing it for the first time, some similarities to one of my builds with '37 Lasalle transmission converted to Ford torque tube with quick change rear it helped that it was in a T with an early fifties engine Rich is all right, he know cool when he sees it
it was a cool car. but i just can't get past the goofy mounting of the body. even if it was done in 61. the 1960version is badass, tho.
