wiper help needed

ok my buddy recently had a truck built in florida, 53 chevy 1/2 ton with 383.its back in ireland now,but the wipers didnt last long ..a recent 100 mph . blast in the rain fryed the wipers.seemed a new motor was fitted to the origional 50 year wiper linkage.anyway we want to solve this problem once and for all.who sells the best quality stuff for a 53 any upgrades available .it can rain a lot here

Newport Engineering makes the best wiper conversions out there. Bob and his staff are super to deal with. I have one of their setups in my convertible, and one will go into the 42 Chevy I am building
