Technical 283/286 Sporting TWIN TURBOS very rare engine!!!!!

    Just wondering if there were any more
    updates on researching the history of
    this thing?? Any news to report??

    Yes we now have confirmation that this engine was in fact part of the test bed/Dyno engine for the CERV project.

    The number on the engine with 12-A means it was a test engine/Dyno

    and the 13-A means it was in fact on the car.

    But just being part of the history makes this engine very unique and I was told that this engine was not suppose to leave the building and had to be destroyed.

    Haven't been throught the whole thread yet, but the pics I have for a twin turbo motor for the CERV1 show the turbos blowing into a Rochester FI plenum...

    This last one is REAL interesting, not so much the 4-71, but dig the pair of factory rochester fuel injectors...And check out those huge rams horns!! How'd you like to have a pair of THOSE!!
