Vintage shots from days gone by!

Went fishing at a High Sierra lake a couple weeks ago and found a working, full length Phone Booth with Door. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Anyone, Bueller, anyone? I'd like to know, too.

I recall seeing the front left corner of it on the cover of a magazine like Car Life -- it was metallic or candy gold. I'm sure it's a Chevrolet but I can't find even a hint of it on the internet. My initial recollection was that it was an experimental from about 1962, just before I got interested in cars when the 1963s came out in September 1962.

However, some styling details (hood louvers and the C-pillar, for example) look like Chevrolet production cars in 1967 so that could mean that this was a few years later from about 1963 or 1964. The headlight treatment is vaguely similar to the Harry Bradley-designed Alexander Bros. custom Dodge Deora pickup from 1965.
