What tire sizes are you running on '40-'41 Ford Pickups ?

  1. Hey All , Looking for some info for a friend . He has a really nice '40 Pickup that is basically stock aside for running posies reversed eye springs front and rear and is on 15" Mercury rims .
    He would like to run a taller tire on the rear to fill the fender up a little more .
    Could you post pictures of your '40-'41 pickups with the sizes you all are running please ?

  2. The picture in my avatar will have to do. 195-60-15 front on 6" rims and 255-60-15 rear on 8.5" rims.

    I run 165R-15 front (5" rims) and P265/75R-15 rear (8" rims) on my '41. Previously ran P285/70R-15, but they became hard to find, and expensive. Sorry, I don't have a snap of the old truck

    Keen to see a few on Bias Plies too . The pickup is currently running 6.70x15 on all four corners .

    I'm running 15x5with 195/75 on the front and 15x7 with 235/75 on the back.
