So a few months ago I heard about this cool little red short wide for sale. Turns out a guy I knew had it. As soon as I saw it I was hooked. I brought her home a couple days later. I had a deadline to meet. My car clubs annual show was in 3months. Simple plan...traditional build era style. Get it running and driving for the show then hit the body this winter.
Now that i had a sweet powertrain setup i moved on...got rid of those shelby's in tha back and opted for some old ansens ive had laying around. put some firestones on it. the truck had an autometer tach in it and bugged the hell out of me so i swapped it for a sweet old greenline ive had stashed.
while i was waiting for a few odds n ends to get handled one of my club brothers came overs and changed the grill up....cornfused yet?
I love the old Internationals, but ditch the grille and keep the stocker. The SBC is ok, but the tunnel ram and 2 -4s is not cool. I had a set up like that and it just sucked on the street.
Thanks man! It was a crunch to get it there.thanks for commin to the show! And the grill is staying. And so is the ram....sorry yours sucked on the street but mine is setup just right and fires up with a half a crank and screams.
Love the stock front end of that truck. I might have to go looking for one of those, what years had that front end
Well its been awhile...I've been workin away on it and having a blast! Got rid of the ram and put my tri power on it. Now its time to prep for paint... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Too bad it didn't still have the 304 in it. I had a '68 with the 304 for a while, it would literally pull stumps. Neat old truck anyway, looks like fun.
