    If you have the 228 inline you have a real tough full pressure engine to start with. That engine was the start of the 248-270-302 inline engine family. Rock solid and good potential without any engine swaps. There is still a great selection of parts too. Nice find! Good luck with whatever you have in mind for this gem! Not many of those to be found anymore.

    What size truck is it? How long is the bed? I have a '46 3/4 ton with 8' bed and 1 ton with 9' bed.
