Just picked this up today. It's either aluminum or stainless and has a cool fine mesh pattern. Is this a universal adjustable or?

It's stainless and will polish up real nice. They made universal and direct fit models. Some attached to the drip rail. Looks to be in real good shape.

hot rodders and custom car guys always took those off and left them off

  5. Only in Texas!

  6. I think stainless. I've seen what looks to be the same material in public toilets as partition walls, makes it loose some of its coolness. Sorry!

I was there in the 50s and I was paying attention to traditional hotrods. There were two groups that used visors and neither group was hot rodders

Looks identical to my Peckat, 'Comet Skyshield' that I picked up some time ago. Stainless steel ends and centre with wafered stainless filler panels.

The Peckat Comet Skyshield exterior sunvisor, stainless steel mesh pattern. Rare, and sometimes get high prices. As Rattle Trap wrote: universal and direct fit models. Difference lays in how long the panels is, and the fastners on centerpart. Good Luck with your buy!!

They never did anything for me. HRP
