47-48 mercury hubcap question

    Can anyone tell me what color the little design above and below the "mercury" should be?

    Going to redo my freshly polished originals and all my other originals have been altered in some way. Appears to be off white maybe?

    Original color is yellow.

  6. ^^^^Those look great^^^...............seems to me they were originally sort of like Ford Wimbledon White but what do I know. My re-pops are sort of a beige color as mentioned above. Mercury cap.jpg

    Wings... That makes sense! I read someone else calling them clouds and I guess I should have known better! Anyhow, thanks for the help and the compliments.
