Little update! Some of you guys seen the rolling chassis at Detroit autorama. After the show I put it back up on the table and pushed it in the corner and took a brake. Well I pulled it out and I'm going to start back up working on it. I'm hoping to have the body back on and most the metal work done by this years autorama.

Heres a few pics for the people who didn't make it to Detroit

    Any questions just ask

I don't think enough people know just how incredible this chassis is. You have went above and beyond my friend. This is top notch work and I can't wait to see the rest of the car come together. Get on it, I need some more inspiration....i think we all do!

Got some work done on the panhard bar brackets. For the housing side I used a 32 tie-rod arm and a piece of steering arm from a model A. Frame side is a piece cut off a passenger spindle added a few fake rivets to make it look like it's riveted

I've got a pile of those '39 Ford draglinks, all NOS. I always thought that they'd make good panhard rods.

I think these started as a 41-48 front panhard bar been awhile since I ordered them. I had to extend this one 3 1/2in to get the length I wanted. I'm also going to use one on the front

I just found this thread and WOW... what a talented fabricator and beautifully designed chassis. Thanks for your response to my question about 1934 Ford ASC rails. I have the rails but I don't possess your talent but I plan to call Ionia for some of their boxing plates. I wonder if they have an X-member since I don't have a stock one?

Here's a few update pics I've been working on the rear shock mounts still got the top to do but they should be done tomorrow. Haven't been working much on the car lifes been getting in the way

Got the upper shock tabs made think I may add a little gusset to them not sure yet. Also started smoothing the castings of a set of 39-40 rear radius rods that I'm going to use for torque arms

Donut!!! This is awesome. Just read thru the whole thread( that's how I caught that) Love the details, the rear bones mount crossmember is beautiful.
Motor mounts are brilliant, and it just keeps going everyplace in every pic.

I added some upper bars to the rear end. I used some 39-40 rear radius rods that I bent to tie into the front of the lower bars. I like the way they turned out. I'm trying to do things I've never seen done before

I like it! Unique but functional and flows with the design of the entire chassis.

  27. I don't know how I missed this, but but but damn!
Almost might hate putting a car on that chassis.
The more I look the more I see, LOTS of details and clean work on this one.
