One would laugh at those curlers today, but my mother was in a serious accident in the early 80s in which her head hit the A pillar of the car. The doctors said the only reason she survived was because the curlers absorbed most of the impact. The curlers were flattened.

 

I wonder what they are using for wash water? The driveway is dry?
Probably staged?

Never heard of micro fiber cloths? use them all the time and never get the driveway wet. much easier than a hose and bucket.

Seeing pictures like this reminds me on how the area was close to my family's property in northern Michigan when I was little,its getting built up and most of the old buildings have been replaced but its been on my mind a bunch this year and need to go back since its been about 7 years since I was last there. I can can look at old pictures like this all day.
