Event Coverage PURE HELL Joins the Line-up @ Eagle Field Oct 5th..BE THERE!

WOW, our 5th year.............seems like yesterday we started with 60 entries and 500 spectators @ our first HOT ROD Gathering Race. Since then the last 4 years has taught and guided us to many improvements at Eagle Field. Improvements like our own bleachers, event layout and the biggest improvement of Dust Control from our Friends at KBK Oils (Fresno Ca.) has made each event consistantly better than the previous!
This years Hot Rod Gathering will be no different with Special Guests the Lindstrom Family and their survivor Gasser Model A, NITRO Fuel Altereds, all the Run Whatcha Brung Action we're known for and a Off Topic event on Sunday that all Saturday Racers are welcome to enter. This Just In........Chris Bennett / Pure Heaven has just confirmed they are making the TRIP to Eagle Field to help fill the air with NITRO!

Racing starts at 12:30...what time do the gates open?

 

Yep, I cut the Off Topic Day which is Sunday out of the flier to play within the rules on the HAMB. Swap meet spaces both days with Saturday normally being the BIG Day. Gate opens 7AM both days with Racing Starting at 12pm on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday. Rocky

Saw the Mob run in Spokane in the late 80s. It was a hell of a show with wild dry hops. That car really had the crowd going that night.

The cars are a handful to drive but that's part of the show they put on.

Only wish the show was not so far from Florida because I would love to see them run.

The conditions have been explained the car owners/drivers, were going to do our best but we'll never be Famoso Most Eagle Field fans have never experienced NITRO............I don't think they'll ever be the same after just a AA/FA Burnout experience!

The Pure Heaven V Fuel Altered is the backup in case we miss the deadline. We are currently searching for a lenco 2-spd transmission, certifiable 3- disc slider clutch, and a certifiable bellhousing suitable for a big block chevy. We will have a Saturday night PIT Party in front of and inside the Historic Eagle Field Hanger with a local band busting out some music off the Hanger Stage. Should be a perfect atmosphere with the Fuel Cars being pitted on the Hanger apron in front of the Hanger and performing their maintenance after their 6pm run.
