Water Pump Rebuilding in Los Angeles

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of a good shop in LA that will rebuild my water pump? I've got a rebuild kit for it, now I just need someone to knows what they're doing. Thanks

 

What motor? I rebuild flathead water pumps

 

Oh, it's a 292 V8 from 1959. The smaller of the two available that year.

I called them today. They still do water pumps, but they said they'd be closed for the rest of the week and to call back on Monday. So, until then, any other suggestions?

 

Have you tried your local NAPA store?

I rebuilt the one on my 283 with a kit. Hydraulic press, a ruler and the instructions was all it took.
