    Hello,
I'm building a 1955 F100 I just bought. I'm the second owner and you can't wipe the smile off my face.
The truck was disassembled by the son to rebuild, but didn't have time.
The rear-end is locked-up. I want to put a different rear assembly in it.
I'm in Dallas and can not find a Ford 9 inch from a 60-72 truck.
What other rear-end would be direct swap for the 55??

    Thank you
    Bill Connel U.S. Army ret.

Is it possible that just the brakes are locked up?
