Is that the same car Rik? Didn't think it was..It looked a bit more blue in the one pic..Good to know!

  4. Great looking car. Was it repainted Rik or does it just look different in different pictures?

It might have been repainted in the last couple of years in a different hue of green, I'm not sure about that. But the photo below shows the 1941 Lincoln in 2013 after it was just completely repainted and now with a front bumper and 1940 Ford headlights!

Same car, repainted in candy green in 2012, which can easily be seen.
I think first picture in this thread is taken by me also...

First paintjob looked different depending light, still it was regular metallic color, if remeber correct from Ford color chart.

Car has been sold to Sweden couple weeks ago.

  12. Beautiful car,,my late friend Mike had a dark green Zephyr and I was amazed just how roomy they are. HRP

  13. Am I the only one who thinks the new candy green is a shame on such a gorgeous car?

    And it's 1941 actually.
I did this to owner/builder when it was still on project stage almost 10 years ago:

Wow! What a gorgeous car. Does anyone have information on its engine & transmission?

    Nope.

Personally, this blue bumper-less version is my favorite. Such a great looking car.

  19. I like the darker color better. Nice looking car. Chop and stance are perfect.

I am digging both colors, the darker is a nice restrained color and the green pops to highlight those amazing lines

  22. Janne, I don't want you to think I was disrespecting your work. I'm a fan of yours. It's a flippin' gorgeous car no matter what, I just think the darker green is more suited to an elegant custom.

Big A: I know what you are talking about. I had same thoughts at first. I've been following this car since the very beginning and really liked the dark color. However, this new color with the bumber and headlights (and headliner etc.) brought (again) this car on the new level being now "finished" (as kustoms ever are). It really looks amazing in real life. I'm sure the new owner appreciates the work Timo has done.
