Just a few stuff this week is that I am ready to paint my Holden grey engine dragster with Boyds pearl pink spray paint, I also finished my 29 Ford roadster pickup, converted to right hand side steering. And I am building one of my all time favourite model cars which is the black 32 Ford Coupe as shown. And a super stock Chevy Drag car build.

Finished this one up a few weeks ago. It started from the AMT Double-T kit with lots of scratch built parts to create a tow truck.

Thank you for kicking off again nerd. Good show.
Maybe its just an old man's eyes, but something about the black 32 has me buggered. Looks terrific, but.... is it AMT, Revell or Monogram? Something about the windows or roof or I am just plain nuts (which is a distinct possibility) Any more pics please?
    Cheers
    Rod

Here's a kustom painted 1/87 scale 51 buick vert. Painted with a Gold mettle flake Purple top half with a Green mettle flake bottom with a black base coat going down the meddle of the hood.
Topped off with BMF for the trim and window frame.
Also 50's style mettle flake seats. Rear tire cover is rwaped with a white mettle flake cover. Also has clear mettle flake bullet tips in the front and rear bumpers.

The black 32 Ford in the photo is what Spoggie built here on the Hamb back in the day. From memory he said it was the Monogram little deuce, but to me it looks like it has a custom built roof.

I'm sitting here wondering if this is it???...
Was this kit designed around Swamp Rat 10???...
Still waiting for Round 2 or should I say AMT/MPC to release this kit again... I first built this kit in 1971 when I was 11 years old...(What a Freakin' glue bomb..:eek:) It was my first model kit...:) I haven't seen it since...:(

Here are some photos of the black 32 Ford coupe as seen in the photo, matched up with the Revell 32 Ford coupe body and the Monogram little deuce kit.

  18. I don't recall if I posted photos from the Street Rod Nats East model contest from June 2. I apologize if you've already seen these.

halfasscustoms: your work on those tiny 1/87 models is really good!

  27. I have been spending most of my time on this '32 recently. Yes that is a crazy flaked frame...

Here is a '49 Merc I started shaving the drip rail to. Going to be a really simple build...

Here is something a little off topic, but it will have kustom mods:eek:

Lots of cool stuff as usual this week. The show pics from Lyle are always a treat and I really dig the hyper detailed T pickup build from Alyn ... and that tiny Buick is The Nutz!!!

Here's the latest off my bench, just finished this morning. A 60's style Hemi powered Junior Fueler (pretend it's a DeSoto...) based on the old MPC Ramchargers dragster kit. Hope you dig it...
