Rear end lowered with blocks so bottoms out with maybe 1 1/2 clearance. problem wind wing rust
here is Hagerty's valuation of it: http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vc=86480 The Collector Car Price Guide shows: #1-30K #2-21K #3-13.5K #4-6K Hope this helps. In my opinion just from the pictures I would say it is a low #3 value vehicle. Probably get around 12K-13K for it.
I don't think you have a Bel Air. It looks like a 210 sport Coupe with that trim. It's not Bel Air trim. Ironically, it may be more rare and may be worth more money.
with a clip install nobody can really give a good indication of its value without seeing it in person.
I agree with 49ratfink. A really well done clip increases value, a poorly done one cuts the value of the car in half. Also, are there receipts for the engine rebuild? Because without them, it's all based on faith. I'm honestly not seeing 12K there. The fact that it's a hardtop is a big plus, but needing upholstery, rust in the roof, doors closing poorly, I don't know who would pay that.
I am not knockin' your car, but you asked... I am nowhere near the 5 figures being discussed just based on what I see and you have stated. I like the looks of the car, but step away from the pipe brother.
That's a first, a WIW post on the HAMB where they're overvaluing the car. Stock, it's worth around $5000 in that shape, I don't know if the Camaro clip adds to the value or not because even done right unless you narrowed it they're really too wide for these cars. I know personally I'd avoid a clipped 54-back Chevy simply because the frame's been cut when there's no reason to do so, and the new frame is a different design than the old, it's difficult at best to weld that up right with three different thicknesses of metal at the splice. But I wouldn't be surprised if you could pull $7500 out of it, in this market, given it runs and goes and is a fairly popular car.
