We're Chris & Gina. We've been lurking for a little bit now and searching for some cool old American Iron. We've been doing Vintage Volkswagens for the past 24 years and finally felt it was time for something different. Recently found and picked up a 1940 Mercury 2 door convertible. Super excited about it and can't wait to get working on it. Put up a couple albums of current and past rides (including the new Merc) so you can all see where we've been and where we're headed. This one will be a learning curve for us so we may just have a few questions Want to do a traditional tail dragger... but do you think it would be wrong to do it to an original unmolested vert?? It's a dry California car that was painted in the 70's and never put back together. Gonna be faced with some tough decisions.
