Cruised your site as a guest a few times over the years but don't usually spend a lot of time on the computer so never signed up. I will be 62 in a few months and am now retired and get to play with my old cars, bikes, parts and shop equipment as much as I want. My first personal introduction to law enforcement was at age 8 or 9 when I was busted for driving my go cart on the streets. (Where else was I gonna drive it?) So, I have been hooked on anything with an engine or mechanical for a while now, but learn new things everyday. Current project(s) 31 Model A roadster that is a driver and a 30 Model A coupe that is being fitted to 32 rails. Enjoy reading a lot of the posts here and will likely be on the sidelines most of the time. Willing to help anyone if I can, because what little I do know came mostly from the "old guys" over the years.
Yes FNG, I too was running go-carts and mini bikes on the street! Post up the pix of those early iron rides and welcome to HAMBville.
Hey there Shop Boy, welcome aboard the HAMB - it's chock full of some great people and some great cars. Enjoy your time on here. Nice intro by the way. Cheers.
OK, if my initial post indicating that I am an "old guy" did not convince you, my woeful lack of computer skills should remove all doubt! I had a request for some pics of my A's. I think(?) I have attached one of the roadster in the shop? When it quits storming and throwing hail stones I will get a better pic from outside. Maybe I can figure out how to configure it so it appears the way it actually sits? I will also try to clear a path and roll the coupe out to show the progress, slow as it is, on the body and chassis fab.
