I heard it but we had already closed up shop for the night. I am always excited when this event comes around then sad when it is over.

 

i DID NOT SEE THE COMET BURNOUTBUT A FRIEND OF MINE ABOUT GOT RUN OVER IN HIS SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE WHEN THE WILLYS COUPE CAME AROUND HIM AND HIT A TRAILER.

THE rumor is that he got mad because of golf carts and people moving slow he went around my buddy and the throttle hung open.

I've flown from the UK 4 times now to be there it's such a cool event, missed it this year due to lack of funds (spent on the next project). Spent 3 days in front of the computer watching on Bangshift, great coverage but no substitute for being there.
Must get back next year.
