    I'm not sure whether I should give up altogether or work harder to outdo you?...people think I'm nuts for saving the projects I drag home, and you make me look like I'm just patching up a small hole in comparison...great job on saving this one, I can't wait to see it finished and assembled...keep up the great work and enjoy the fruits of your labor...

    From a fellow Italian in N Carolina, thats much more work then I have ever seen, to resurrect a Ford body. WOW when I saw the first pics I thought you were gona cut it up for body parts. Bravo. Iceman

    Been following along for awhile now and it just gets better and better. The colour looks great. Since you masked the frame I guess you're going red body and fenders and a black frame?

    The grille is a long story. I had an original grille, but had been reworked and many of the bars had been changed. The remaining bars were not in good shape, so I decided to purchase another grille. Found a nice one on ebay, and work started on this one. There was some rust and traces of paint, but sandblasting would have left a porous surface. So we decided to put in a bath of Evapo Rust, and after a day the grille came out looking new. Here are some pics of before and after

    mounting the leaf spring to the wishbones...a bronze bushing ahs bene created, with a threaded shaft with a grease fitting....

  30. do you know of any "Brocchini's" ....most likely up on the hill from the town...my great grandpa and granddad came from there at the turn of the last century...they were from up on the hill...
