cant load pictures, says the size is too big but my black 40 Ford is "BLACK MAGIC". I have an airbrushed pinup on the deck lid of Pam Anderson topless with stockings, garters, high heels, and a witches hat, sitting on broom with a large moon in the background with "BLACK MAGIC" under it. the wife loves it. NOT!!!!!!

My '64 Comet was just called "The Comet" by everybody. After I repainted it Metallic Blue, they all started calling it "Blue", so I did too. --- Steve ---

Named mine Maybelline, after the Chuck Berry song because my car has always given me trouble no matter what I do to fix her.

My friends know the car in my avatar as "Sherman", because the steel is like a tank. My brother named his '39 "Booger". I think he named it 'cause he picked it.

My wife's car (in my avatar) is named Gorgeously Green. She named it for obvious reasons.

In college, my roommate had a 1972 Olds Vista Cruiser 9 passenger wagon that was HUGE, and blue.
Embarrassing as all hell for a bunch of 19 year old studs like us.

He named it The Blue Canoe

Had a '57 Chevy named "Little Lucy" after a previous owner. My '89 Jeep Wrangler didn't like being called "the Beast" so she showed me why I needed to change it- she's now "the Sphincter Shrinker". The old '47 Chevy DeLuxe was "the Green Goose"; not only was it bilious green in color, an extended trip would make you seasick on a country road. There's more, just can't think of them now.

18 pages and a lot of laughs. Still can only think of one car I have named. Actually our son did. SMILEY the 1941 Ford. Just look at it and you will see it smiling back at you.
For some reason I have never found a name or reason to name anything else. I do feel that our cars should have names if we keep them long. I do call the 55 Chevy wagon THE WAGON.

And another thing that confuses me is why do members go on these threads just to bitch and moan? If they think naming a car is stupid why the hell did they even click on it? Like I wrote I had fun just reading this and if there are a dozen other car naming threads I haven't found them yet. Maybe if I do I can steal some car names.
