My '54 Effie is affectionally known as 'the lemon' by my friends as I have had a few issues with it over the years. Nothing too serious but annoying all the same. Doesn't help when it is painted in Vivid Canary yellow...

 

my ot 77 chevy is called Luci... as in lucifer. the reason is it ran like hell and gave me so many issues in high school. i still have it, it still runs...another project for another website...i havent got a good name for the willys yet.

 

No names.. Names are stupid.. Oh by the way the car in my avatar is "MR 800" cause it has 800 louvers.....

1950 IH is named Natalie Jane
The 1950 Chevrolet panel Nui Oka Lani. She's gonna be done up in tiki style, hence the Hawaiien name.

The car in my avatar is "audrey" named after hank williams wife.

 

My uncles 31 coupe was called the THUNDERCHICKEN!!! He had 49 ford truck with a camaro subframe and a bigblock he called LOOSY(lucy) and he had a 49 ford truck with a 65 chevy bed a 72 lemans front clip with the stock ford hood a 426 hemi and a 727 torqueflite,an olds rearend in it...he called it LOOSER!!!! I had a 55 chevy called the FlyingAnvil and a 55 pontiac called the white elephant

 

56 Chevy 4 door. Elinore Moody. mostly cuz she had her mood swings...

I've never given my cars a name, but my ex wife named my 27. She called it "That DAMNED CAR !!" I think it was a term of endearment.

1964 Rambler American 440 with an AMC 360 bored .040 over. It also has an Edelbrock performer cam, carb and intake, 3 inch exhaust, and a ford 9 inch with a richmond locker and 4.11 gears. I plan painting it big bad green and dark gunmetal. I am going to call it "The Green Meenie"

After thinking about this for about three seconds, and since "car name" threads never, ever die, I actually HAVE named every single car and truck I've ever owned...

"BITCH"...

As in "C'mon, Bitch, start already!", or "Let go of the that damn bolt, Bitch!"...

So, yeah, "Bitch".

Spooky for my '60 F-100 in my Avatar. Everyone says it gives off a weird vibe and it's been nothing but mechanical trouble since I've owned it.

 

Hantavirus! because I found 27 dead mice and rats in the cab when I got the truck home from North Ala.

 

Back in 1980 i got a steel 32 roadster body and set the task of naming it from the American Graffiti sound track,Green Onions it was,now my T rpu is Green Onions II. JW.

The previous owner named my 47 "Henry" All the guys I run around with still call it "Henry".
Even my granddaughter calls it "Henry". Waddaya gonna do?....

 

My Merc is called Crystals Persuasion. I put the car up for sale about a month after buying it. My wife Crystal saw the for sale sign and told me it wasn't for sale she wanted it fixed up. 18 years later we still own it.

The name of my car has been painted on the side since the 60s. Lutefisk Special. My car is wearing it's third shade of blue. First pic was taken in 66. Second was in 73, third in 87, last picture was in 2005. Local American Legion owned it for over 60 years. I bought it in 2011.
