    Took my 4 year old daughter for her first plane ride today.....1929 ford tri-motor.

    Cool, is that the one from Kalamazoo Air Museum? If so it can be seen over the Nationals every Sept. Nice old piece of machinery..............
    congrats on her first flight, neat to say it was in a 29 Ford.

    There is a reprint of the Ford Tri-Motor Assembly Manual available for those who ordered one and had it shippped in by truck or train in crates. Quite intersting.

    this same one had been flying over all weekend, right over my house at pretty much as low as they could go legally. That is a sweet plane and at $70 a seat I wish I would have found that out sooner so I could book a flight. Now I have to wait a year :(

    Like everyone else has been saying, cool dad!

    Those tri motors are about as cool as it gets.

    Lucky kid and obviously a pretty cool dad.

    That smile on that young face is not going away in her memory. Well done. On St Patricks Day I treated my now 26 year old son and myself to a ride on "FIFI" when she was at Palm Springs.
