Version 1. I've seen a lot of cars get over done or over thought in later variations. This seems to be one of them. Sometimes, that first lightening strike is all that's needed.
I,ll take version 3 , silver paint minus the hood scallops, sweet custom in any version but three just grabs your attention .
I like #1 . Just looks cleaner and the turn signals in the front seem to complete the grille and dress it with a bit more class! BUCKD
I tried to pick 3 & 5 but ended up with 3, all were updated for different reasons. To bad it was destroyed
It's three for me, dig that paint job. I've always liked mid to late '50's Kustoms as exemplified by the Cut-Outs and Renegades.
I find version 5 so elegant not as busy with the paint work it just flows to me, not much to detract from the color or curves of the body
Number 1 for me as I've liked every photo of it in that version that I ever saw. To me that is Moonglow.
I'm gonna disagree. I like version 4. That's the one I can see myself cruising...and staring at as I walk backwards away from it.
When I like customs at all its almost always only the early ones . With the exception of the Inman Chrysler
No doubt version 3 for me. I've had a RJ poster of it in my garage for years and I never get tired of staring at it!
Ever since I bought that issue in 1957 I have loved that car.The original version gets it for me.After seeing it re-painted blue I thought that it had lost something but was still one of the greatest customs ever. This is the first time I've seen it with scallops and in my opinion they are hideous. They do absolutely nothing for the car.
As cleanly original and subtle as the first incarnation is, I'd have to go #3. Version #5 is a little too 'in-your-face', I'm personally not a fan of the headlight treatment or the colour.
