The main road being closed only adds 5 miles to the trip to wayland, and it's a really nice road for cruising. If your at the super 8 or in that area of keokuk, just go north about a mile, turn left on argyle rd. it's a nice winding road through the country. At the end, turn left on interstate 27, and poof, bobs ur uncle. You'll be and the wayland exit ( by the flyin j) in just a few mins!

I nicknamed mine "Frisby" One day it lived up to it's name and never gave me any more trouble.

  10. My route shows me coming up 61 from down around St.Louis. Does anyone know if there is anything I need to know about that area? Construction, floods, detours? Thanks, Barry

Another great event Todd! seems everyone was there, the sun even showed up, we tried to be there with our car but guess the fuel pump just couldn't stand the strain, so we came anyway and had a blast! Great music great time. met some great folks and saw a lot of new/old car attendees and ate at the best restaurant around the Tri-States REED'S!
We look forward to next year,.....wonder if we can rebuild the old gas station? :)

Here's a few that I snapped, they're a little heavy on the bowtie stuff, but you get the idea.

As I stated earlier in this thread - it is worth the trip to Wayland JUST for the steak sandwich at Reeds. It did not disappoint and I purchased 3 of them. I wonder what the special seasoning is that makes them so yummy.....
oh - and there was a kick ass car show too!!!!
Breeder knows how to throw a party.
Hope I can make it back next year - what is the date?
    May 16/17?
