Pool table.

  1. Pool table as a welding/fab table?just add 1/2" steel top.anyone done it?

    Welding table doubles as a Forest Gump Ping Pong Table too.

    Man, that thing would be h e a v y. I would wonder if it would be safe with so much wood on it though.

  12. Heavy is good! I used wood (3/4" ply, 2 X 6 around the edges.) because mine is a lay out and fab table. I have a heavy steel table for welding. Many of my tools are mounted on it, and easy to remove when I need more room. Call it a rat table if you must :rolleyes: But it is seriously the best improvement I've made to the shop this year.
