    Thanks for starting this thread! I love me some swede looking blue paint!!! Especially on a tail dragger!!!

    This is duplicolor metallic blue with their flat clear coat.

    You ARE too old...but that doesn't have anything to do with it...

    And there's nothing as constant as change...to the world or to automobiles...

    Here's my brother's '54 Cadillac, with flames, and by the time you read this it'll be pinstriped...sprayed with satin clear...

    (Sure is easy to take care of - no waxing, no polishing, no worry about scratches, no worry about taking two spaces in a parking lot...the list is endless...!!!)

    Brush painting was also traditional and you don't see people doing that.

    I like it lot. Something to consider for sure.

    My 55 Chevy truck will be getting the satin treatment. I don't care how some of these old-timers feel about it... it looks amazing when done correctly.

    Now this is a beautifull Plymouth. Takes me back to early sixties, this is was typical of the cars i saw.
