F-2-F-3 rear fender measurement?

...can someone measure an Ford F-2 or F-3 rear fender from the top part of the wheel opening up to the bedside (holding the tape against the fender)

Ive got a 52 F3 I could measure, is that what you need? I came up with 17 3/8" if Im understanding what you want.

 

yup, that sounds about rite; I'm comparing those fenders to an F-1 fender.

You do realize the F-2/3 fenders are narrower than an F-1? The measurement from the wheel opening lip to the edge that mounts to the box is not going to be a comparable measurement.

 

...yes I do know they are different, are the wheel openings bigger tha F-1's?...I guess that's what I was getting at.

 

The wheel openings on my 52 F3 look to be a lot larger, front to rear, than an F1. I dont have a measurement handy, but can get it, if needed.

 

Yes, the wheel opening is smaller on the F-1.
