Projects 1930 Chrysler 4 Door Sedan Build thread

  1. Sure.....pick one of the two toughest parts of an early '30s MoPar coupe to look for....the doors or the trunk lid/rumble seat lid.

    I'm good on the rumble seat lid. Although some bone head decided to braze it to the lower panel to make a deck lid:eek:

    I just need a door, doesn't even have to be a good one as I can fix it.

    Made a little progerss this weekend. I got the body off the frame. I got out the heat wrench and first cut 5 bolts on the left side then 5 on the right and thought that was it but the body wouldn't budge. Then I found 3 more bolts on each side of the inside of the frame. That did it. Now I have the roller inside and can finish the trans mount, remove the engine box the frame, run brake lines and paint eveything before starting the body.
