I am sending out my 216 Chevy 6 cam for regrinding. There is not enough "meat" for the old dual pattern McGurk and Isky grinds. The cam is steel, and new cores are not available. Does anyone know the specs of the Howard M4F? How about other Howard grinds? The engine is heavily modified, and I'd like as much cam as possible. Thanks
Oregon Cam Grinding has a a bunch of grinds available. So does Delta . They often have cores in stock. The M4F is a moderate grind, about 206 degrees duration at .050 lift and total lift is around .425

Thanks a hundred, Guys! Sounds like plenty of cam for the little 216. (Some extra exhaust duration might be nice.)
