What is your favourite car show.

Yup!

 

Here in New Zealand, it's the Hot Rod Blowout for me. It seems to be the only show in NZ that is catering to Hambers.

 

I guess world of wheels was second choice for me too. To much sema type stuff there now. I quit going

The first couple of Jalopy Dust Ups at Waihi were right up there too with big turnouts of hot rods for dirt track racing.

Gotta say the Rocket Speed Equipment Open Day is actually a great little show too (200 cars maybe) and 97% are HAMB friendly.

BTT50s is always fun, especially camping with Tuck and friends on the grounds but I really enjoyed myself at a Goodguys event in Puyallup, Washington about 10-12 years ago....loved the drags associated with that event!

It used to be Paso. Santa Maria is OK, but not the same. BTT50s is a great event, but too far for me.

Its been a few years since I was there, but Ord Nebraska fathers day weekend was the BEST rod run. Saturday was great games (driving and such, burnouts, beer can toss, and sometimes ended up in drag races) Saturday night a dance, Sunday park downtown and show. then Sunday afternoon a pig roast and awards.

Also, the first 20 years of the Big Mac rod run in Ogallala NE was great. good food and fun, then a cruise to the lake for dinner. Sunday a poker run, more great food and awards.

 

The kind I actually get to go to.

 

The Parowan Fun Run, held the 1st Saturday in June every year. It'll be the 23rd year this year. Held in Parowan UT about 18 miles north of Cedar City Utah.

Ventura Nationals and Mooneyes Xmas Show. Lots of eye candy and music. An added plus, Mooneyes has drag racing.
