First Digs at E-Town April 27th at Raceway Park The very first Digs at E-town will take place this saturday April 27th at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. The event will get underway at 5 p.m. everyone should enter through Gate 4 to get to the event that is held on the Raceway Park 1/8th mile drag strip. The Digs features all forms of Hot Rods, Street Freaks, Straight Axles, pre 1965 Hot Rods and Muscle Cars through 1974. Just 12 bucks to get in and that includes a tech card which allows you to race your car. In addition awards are given away in all types of classes, just a true fun event for everyone. New for 2013 the Digs at E-town Car Club Challenge all car clubs that features car that fit the Digs format. For each car that the club brings to the Digs at E-Town will get a point the club that collects the most points at the end of the year will take home a very special trophy made by Ida Automotive. In addition the best overall club participation at each event will take home a trophy along with the best overall Hot Rod club. For all of you that have Schwinn Sting Ray bikes you can load them into your muscle car or hot rods and bring them down to the event as we will have a special Schwinn Sting Ray Show and Go.
