Folks Of Interest Anyone interested in a Houston HAMBer's Meet?

You gotta be carefull, tailgaters and quick spurts and all.

 

That quick spurt thing just sounds wrong. Is anybody meeting for coffe or breakfast on Saturday morning before going down to Sam's show in Texas City? If so where and when?

 

FYI I arranged to have free coffee & doughnuts just outside the show gates between 8am & 9am for you guys. Please let me know if you think that you are gonna make the coffee & cars.

Sam's show? I guess I'm not in the loop. I finally got my wagon back on the road last week and want to start meeting some of you folks. It's been a while since I've been to the Ice House.

 

Is there a flyer on the show? I'd love to see if the wagon would make it!

I google mapped it, looks like a pretty small parking lot....how many cars are you expecting Sam? I think it's a great idea! I wish you all the best! My kids got baseball that day and I wouldn't make it in time for the morning. I will see if we can swing by in the afternoon.

 

We have room for 75 cars. He got a permit to block off the whole street. Come on down.

 

I may be there. Not sure yet. Planning on stabbing engine and trans in the morning and planning my day from there. We're going to a wedding down that way around mid afternoon and the show is near enough I may stop in before.

 

Somebody besides me ought'a be getting hungry, who's ready to meet again?

we have two, can we get another gearhead to second the deal..Let's say meet, maybe 9 or 10ish..I have to load my racecar up for races that evening at the local paved oval.
Heck I may even just drag it with me and make a long day at the track too.

Same here. I also drive it everyday during the week. I average about 1,000 miles a month. Give or take a 100. Spammer.

 

Can't make this weekend. I'll be in Austin at Circuit of the Americas at the V8 Super car challenge at Turn 11.

The 25th, I'll be there. I'll talk to some of the other car guy's at the chick-fil this Saturday night and see if they might show up at Kelley's for breakfast.

I will be there with my oval track car on the trailer. The races start early so I will just plan to spend the day at the track...Might even get a little practice in too.
I am looking for a crew chief ..someone to take tire pressures and temps after I roll off the track.
