Iskenderian blower?

    Anyone have any info on one of these? When were they made? (Intake & snout are weiand) it's a 671 case.

    That is actually a 6-71 GMC diesel blower converted to gas. Isky made a complete drive kit that included the pulleys, idler brackets, snout, belt, tri-plate, and rear plate you have on that blower. Nice piece probably from the 1960s.

    Did you get anything else with the blower? Post a couple more pics and I can tell you if it is complete. -Andy

    34 Andy said it all the rear bearing plates are pretty rare. They use a stock back bearing plate. The back cover has machined flats that act as the bearing retainers. If you plan on using this I would take the cover off and check that the bearing plates have been strengthened. You can use the stock gmc plate but need to but a steel ring around them to add strength.
