  1. One tuff looking car - as others have said, I hope my 5-window turns out half that nice .... a job well done!

This thing is the fucking bees knees man, haha. I wish I lived close enough to see it in person. We live in the same state, but Rochester is a trip for me.

Few hundred miles on it so far, some broken drivetrain parts and a shit load of fun!
One of the aftermarket 31 spline axles i bought was made a touch short, which i didn't notice before installing them, and i stripped 3/8ths of an inch of splines right off leaving work a little hard the first week on the road. :D

    Hahaha.....
Yeah i was pretty hard on it the first couple weeks but have calmed down a little.
Had the transmission out and all apart 2 weeks ago for similar reasons though. :)

At some point id like to get an in car vid though. Just think it would be kinda fun.

    Thanks guys.

  21. I've been through the entire thread - multiple times - it's a primer on how to build a 5-window of which I've got one to do after the 40 pickup I'm on now. You have one mean looking ride - great job. I hope to see it in person some day .....

Hahaha thanks for clearing that up! :)
Never thought that would be a great looking body with what i brought home.
    Thanks!

And TomT, very much appreciated! It really is nothing more than a tried and true set build. Nothing really fancy at all. But thank you!
