  4. Most of you guys know the story of our '54 Ford "Ranch Wagon" that was purchased new by my wife's grandmother and we have owned it since 1978 and parked it in the barn in 1982.

This photo was taken in 1966,,

This is from 2003 when I pulled the car from the barn.

We finished bringing it back to life in 2012. HRP

This was my Gr Gr Grandfather's car he bought new June 1931, it has been handed down 4 generations. Rodded with parts from the family barn, I have been peeling rubber with it for 17 years. Going to Torquefest with it in 2 weeks.

Ive owned the '32 in my avatar since 1977, it was a High School project that fell by the wayside.
6 months of hard work and it was on the road in 1996, been driving it ever since.

I've had mine for 51 years.
I bought my 40 merc in1962. It's had six engines 471 supercharged 265 chev, 392 chrysler, turbocharged 305 chev, 231 buick turbo, and two 350 chev's. I'm in the middle of its third paint, and will be getting it's third interior. It,s had a 40 merc trans, 2-th350, 2-700R4, and now a t56 6 speed (Real hot rods have three pedals) I'm doing it again for the last time.

I bought my car in 1949 while I was in college.
It has had several different bodies on it over the years and set up for different types of racing.
Most of the time for the first 20 years it was street driven in between racing.
The first pic is as it was about 2 years after I bought it.
The second pic is as it is today.
Methinks it might be time to peddle it though. I have other cars to play with now.

  25. Not sure if this is considered a hot rod or just a cool car but I have had it 30 years.

Pretty close. My shoebox was a pretty clean, low mileage stocker when I bought it in '89. It's looked like this since '97:

Had mine for 23 years, and im only 33... Drove it for the first time a few months back. Full frame off reso/custom. Kept going to school and moving around took away time and money from the car.
