Someone took a photo of this plaque at the LSR and I'm wondering if someone can tell me what the PB stands for. I'm guessing it's a town or area in Texas, but could be wrong (again). The only PB I know of is a part of PBR.

I want to add this to a page on our website for car club plaques but don't know which page.

I'm guessing Permian Basin. Most of West TX around Midland area...

  4. The only towns listed on Texas map show Pelican Bay or Port Bolivar...maybe????

That would be my guess. The only other I can think of is Palo Blanco

I'd guess Permian Basin as well. I'll ask my buddies from midland if they've seen the plaque around.

I found a couple of other possibilities in Texas .....

    Pelican Bay and Port Bolivar

Did you ever have a chance to check with your buddies about this club?

Damn few of the mentioned towns would have a population big enough to afford a cast car club plaque. Permian Basin...yeah but that covers a bunch of territory.

  14. I made those last year. So I called Frank to make sure what it stood for and all those who guess Permian Basin get a prize.

As a matter of fact, Frank was attending a graduation tomorrow at Permian High School there in Odessa, TX.

    Glad I could help,

    Dennis
