I've got the Bifocals, had them for the past 25 or so years but half the time I have to use my led work light just to find what I'm looking for in my toolbox because that corner of my garage is so dark.

I have noticed that the size imprint on my tools have shrunk also, mainly on Proto, Snap On, Craftsman and a couple other brands.. Happens on my Allen Wrenches also. These would help.

In all honesty most of us old guys have been around long enough that we can tell the size of a bolt head or a box-end by looking at it. We may miss by one size though.LOL

The first thing I did here was to click on the site and order 2 sets. Worth a try. I have a magnifying glass at my tool box. This will not help with drill bits and taps too things that drive me crazy.

    This.

I thought you just just kept trying sizes, till you found the one that you left in the basement/car/garage/where ever you aren't. which is the one you need.

the sad thing here, i'm 26. no excuse. I'm not sure if i should be be a little proud or ashamed that i can usually tell the difference between metric and standard blindly by feel.

Consider yourself lucky, I have a much worse problem. Roving gangs of criminals break into my garage and hide or move my tools and parts, several times a week. I have never been able to catch them in the act and the local authorities don't even seem to care about this problem.
